1 Cor. 13:1

January: Verse 1

"What if I could speak all languages of humans and even angels?  If I did not love others, I would be nothing more than a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal." (CEV)

1/7/2012 - I love cymbals and gongs, but out of place, it certainly would get annoying.  I wonder if my words are filled with love or are simply noisy cymbals and gongs...

2013 - Year of Love

So this year, 2013, I'm going to try something new. I am going to commit to meditating on God's Word, specifically 1 Corinthians 13.  There are 13 verses in the chapter, coincidence?  I think not.  I'm a HUGE numbers geeks.

Anyway, so each month I will focus on 2 verses: the verse that coordinates with it's month number (jan/1, feb/2, etc.) and verse 13 - "For now there are faith, hope and love.  But of these three, the greatest is love."
