This guy is completely in opposition to Rick Warren and all of his "Purpose Driven Life" stuff, and everything he seems to stand for. He certainly is on one side of the issue and seems to be more concerned with emptying a person of who God made us to be, and how God made us. I find it exciting to read things that are in complete opposition to something I think is good. Far too often we go into something thinking "it was written by a great Christian man, so it must be theologically and doctrinally sound" and buy it "hook, line and sinker". Certainly we need to think for ourselves.
